When to Start a Home Based Business or Should You

People always wondering on whither or not they should start a home based business or even start a small business. But are you ready for the major change in life?

We all want good money in our pockets. We all want to have the freedom to do what we want to do in life. But sometimes just a few changes in our world is all that is needed.

Small business or home based business takes a lot of guts to get started. Others start one because they are trying to get out of the career they have chosen for themselves or maybe they are not happy in the work that they are doing at the time.

Lots of thinking is needed to before you take that first step.

I’ve have spoken to several clients about this and I tell them that you need to analyze what they are seeking first and making sure that they are willing to make major changes in there lives. But before they get started in thinking about a home based business or a small business. They need to do some soul searching first.

I ask them. Are you willing to quit your job to make your dream come true? Do they have enough money saved to support the family and or until the business start showing profit? Are they ready to work part-time on a business and stay working currently with the job they are doing? Are you willing to put in 12 hours days, seven days a week? Are you ready to be the boss? Can you think positive all the time? Can you make changes in your life to make it happen? Will you mind not seeing your family and friends for a long period of time? Can you fire someone on the spot? Are you ready to be the banker, manager, janitor, coordinator, seeker, research person, supervisor, etc.?

I know that this is a lot to take in but sometime you need to think things through first. You need to understand that life is going to change drastically and you are going to work harder than you ever had in your life.

I’ve learned that some people are not made for a home based or small business. That’s okay. Working, Monday thru Friday, 8 to 5 is not bad at all. Maybe all you need is a different job. Some people feel that freedom is a small business but in reality all they need to do is change jobs. That is something that you will need to evaluate yourself and your surroundings.

Now the positive to this because of all the sacrifices that you did during your time of building your at home business or small business. It’s rewarding. It’s worth the time effort and energy. You will get the money and funds together to get what you want. But a lot of times, depending on the business, it will take some time. On an average, a small or home-based business will take about a good 2 years before you start seeing money or some type of profit, that up to you on how hard you work on it. The more hours you put into it at first the faster you will see a stable income.

So home based builders or small business seekers. There is a lot to think about and lot you need to do. But you must understand that you have to work hard and think hard to get what you want.

I did a lot of thinking before I adventured to what I wanted and yes I gave up a lot of time with family, friends and possession that I had. But overall I now have the freedom to be my own boss and be stable to live the life I wanted.

Remember to seek out what you want first and then go for it. Do you want a home based business or small business? Or you just are looking for a better career?

About chelseyb

Hello everyone. I don't have what you would call a sob story, like some, however I am a young business owner and any donations to help me succeed would be greatly appreciated! I started my mortgage company when I was 21. I have had it now for almost 4 years. I've done pretty well, but my bills now are pretty high and I don't have much money to market myself and my company. I would be extremely greatful if anyone would like to help out a fellow business owner and I'm willing to take advice from successful loan officers. I am also looking to network with bankers, realtors, financial advisors so we can hopefully all make each other some money. Thanks for reading my blog. Chelsey

I need help to reorganize my financial status.

Hi,

My name is Kristi and I need to make a fresh financial start.  Last year my Grandmother lived with my husband and me for the last eight months of her life.  She had Alzheimer's and we were her care givers.  During this time, I lost touch with things and let some really important things slip my mind.  We own a small business in the town that we live in and when she moved in with us I started working from home.  I made some errors financially that has now left us in a real bind that I can not seem to get us out of.  My husband and I work hard and I am trying desperately to reorganize so we can begin our life again without the huge strain of financial distress that I have caused my family by letting myself get out of touch with reality while my Grandmother was with us.  Any help would be appreciated and once I get back on my feet, I vow to continue visiting this site helping others in my position.  I am in need of $8700.00 to catch up and get my head above the water so I can get back on track.  If financial help is not available then pray will be much appreciated.

Thank you for the time you took to read this.  God says that I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.  I feel that he lead me to this site.  God Bless you all.

Kristi

I am 36 years old and have found myself in quite a mess.  My husband and I own and operate a small business in the town that we live in.  We have done well, but due to some errors that I have made while being away from the office caring for my Grandmother with Alzheimer's  we are in need of help to get our finances reorganized.

We are believers in God and know that he will get us through this time in our life.  I feel he lead me to this site for help and where I one day can help someone in the same situation I am in now.  If you are unable to help financially a prayer would be much appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and may God Bless you and your family.

Miracles Happen!

Miracles Happen!

Hello Wonderful, Compassionate World!  Here is my story

Merciful Compassion
'Krapalu'
Showing or giving mercy.

I am a single mother of an amazing little boy, who is the love of my life.  I worked my fingers to the bone in a great career, putting my blood, sweat and tears into a company for over 14 years.  It was the opportunity of a lifetime, and I was able to learn and grow with this company, starting out as a bookkeeper, and moving into a senior executive level.  I purchased our first home on my own, and it was our dream home.

My son's biological father was hardly ever involved in his life, never paid child support, and never helped with my child's insurance or any of the medical bills.  The father only came around to harass me when it was convenient for him.  After several volatile and abusive situations with this man, I finally decided that I needed to take legal action to rid myself of this man before my son witnessed my murder by him.

If anyone is familiar with our judicial system, it is not about right or wrong, or even the truth for that matter.  I hired an attorney to set up a Protective Order and Supervised Visits for my son because his father had already threatened to kill me, kidnap my son, and take him to Mexico where he owns property.   I took the high road during the entire litigation, always believing that the truth prevails.  Boy, was I in for a rude awakening.  The biological father put up the most vicious, vindictive fight against me, concocting the most malicious lies about me and tried to take my son from me.  Unfortunately, he was able to con an attorney to work Pro Bono for him, and I was in for the fight of my life.

I do not come from a wealthy family at all, and worked very hard for everything that I had.  Well, the opposing counsel pulled many unethical and illegal manuevers during our litigation, and got my son's father out of over $20,000 in back child support, his portion of unpaid medical bills, and forced me to rack up over $200,000 in legal fees.  After four attorneys, selling my beloved home, losing everything I had worked so hard for, and going through my parents retirement funds, I kept custody of my son, but at a very high price.  On top of getting the father out of his financial responsibilities - the opposing counsel also got the child support payments reduced to nothing.  Please note:  the biological father is a trained nurse - but waits tables so he can hide his income and pay the lowest child support possible.

I had to sell my dream home to help pay legal fees in the fight for my child - but the worst part is that my parents had to help me with the rest of the legal fees and went through their entire life savings.  They are both retired and in their 60's and 70's.  They had been very frugal and spent their entire lives saving to have a decent retirement.

Because of this litigation, my credit has been temporarily ruined after years of a pretty much perfect credit score, I owe my parents over $200,000, and have to start my life completely over from rock bottom.  My biggest heartbreak is that my parents are not even able to enjoy their golden years because of one very bad attorney, and my choice to leave an extremely abusive man.

I have been trying so hard to land a job, but with no luck.  I have asked friends and relatives for help, but no luck there either.

So here I am, On AIDPAGE.  I am completely broke, in serious debt, and desperately need help from any Angels out there.  I am not asking for a handout - I just truly need some help getting back on my feet to be self sufficient again.  My parents need my help.  My son needs me to be strong for him.

I cherish helping and giving to the homeless.  I am very saddened that I am not in a position right now to be able to give back to those in need, but it is my top priority once I get back on my feet again.  Money and material possessions are worthless unless we continuously give back to those in need.

Thank you for reading my story.  If there is anyway that some Angel out there could see it in their heart to help me, my son, and my parents, the graciousness and gratefulness would be insurmountable.

I would reciprocate in any way that I could - by providing my business services, running errands, doing odds and ends as a personal assistant - because I absolutely do not expect someone to help me without something in return.  I am a giver, not a taker - making this situation in my life right now very difficult for me.

If you see it in your heart to help our situation, I would be so grateful.  Please, please help us.  I have a PayPal account if anyone would be so kind as to help us.  God Bless All of You!

Thank you again for taking the time to read this!

'Aum' or 'Om'
Literally means "yes, verily." Aum, often spelled Om, is the "breath of life". The most sacred mantra of Hinduism is placed at the beginnings of most sacred writings. Aum represents the Divine and is explained in the Upanishads as standing for the whole world and its parts, including past, present and future. It is from this primal vibration that all manifestation issues forth. Aum's three letters represent the three worlds and the powers of creation, pr
